The first few weeks of construction involve a lot of paperwork and not a lot of physical work. There have been a lot of submittals going back and forth between the General Contract, Architect, and MEP Engineer. Long lead items such as HVAC units, light fixtures, floating cloud ceilings have been approved and are being ordered. Hopefully, there will be a partial release of the sheet metal shop drawings so that ductwork can be fabricated and brought onsite.
