Williams Trading LLC based in Stanford, CT launched a new division, Watermill Trading LLC, run by Ben Bram –previously a managing director at Goldman Sachs. Janko Rasic Architects, PLLC was retained by Watermill Trading to assist them and their real estate team in evaluating potential locations for the New York City Offices. Ultimately, the top floor of 30 West 21st Street was selected. The landmark loft building was originally slated to be converted to luxury condominiums. Given market conditions, the owner decided that an office building was the best use. Watermill’s space commands views of the Empire State Building and has two skylights providing an abundance of natural daylight to the Trading Floor. Future plans include a roof deck for use by Watermill. The Landlord expects the office to be a show piece for the building, attracting other tenants. Janko Rasic Architects, PLLC is acting design Architect and project manager on behalf of Watermill while the Landlord and its consultants build-out the space for the tenant.
