Commissioned by Banco de Chile, Janko Rasic Architects transformed a run down neo-Tudor style townhouse into the bank’s New York headquarters. A comprehensive renovation was undertaken. The building was refitted with new air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. Aesthetic considerations were based on the client’s wish for the installation to resemble a nineteenth century London club. Subsequently the building was landmarked.
