Janko Rasic Architects provided pro bono architectural services for the Desmond Fish Public Library’s  Innovation +Learning Center.  The Center is a resource for the entire community from kids wanting to learn about coding, virtual reality and robotics to adults developing new job skills to entrepreneurs looking for shared work space and local organizations in need of training and meeting resources. The  design collaboration was between interior designer Maryann Syrek of MStudio Gallery and architect Timothy Rasic of Janko Rasic Architects who is also a board member of the library.  The $175,ooo project was funded by grants through the New York State Library Construction Aid, State Senate Aid, the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, the Cold Spring Lions Club, the HOPE for Youth Foundation, as well as support from the library’s board of trustees and many private donors in the local community.
