To create additional space in this penthouse apartment, Janko Rasic Architects designed a new solarium on the 1,500 sf roof terrace. The addition provides an outdoor/indoor transition between the rooftop garden and the dining and living areas in the completely renovated apartment.  The new solarium required approval from New York City Landmarks.
