Janko Rasic Architects collaborated with Swedish firm Hidemark & Stintzing Arkitekter on the new office of Consulate General of Sweden in New York at One Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza. Located on the 40th floor, the light filled office enjoys fantastic views of Downtown and Midtown Manhattan. The playful design of reception/waiting area provides a comfortable, child-friendly environment for families visiting the consulate. Custom designed cabinets conceal folding tables which convert into touchdown stations used when the UN General Assembly is in session. Janko Rasic Architects previously worked with Hidemark & Stintzing on the renovation of the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations. Janko Rasic Architects has worked with numerous foreign missions and consulates such as the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Slovenia , the African Union to the UN, the Greek Press & Communication Office to the UN, and the Permanent Mission of France to name a few.
