Creative Re-Purposing Of Old Rail Station

Stazione PKSL is part of the Peekskill renaissance, the revitalization of the waterfront, and is a creative re-purposing of an old rail station.

Working with restaurateur Louie Lanza of the Hudson Hospitality Group and Mark Mancinelli of Fine and Rare Wine and Spirits LLC, Janko Rasic Architects is converting the Metro-North train station in Peekskill, NY into a salumeria and restaurant/bar. During the day, the station’s waiting room will be open to the public along with a new cafe, where people can enjoy a good expresso and cured meats and salsiccia sourced locally. At night, it will be transformed into an upscale Italian restaurant. The new eatery will serve commuters and new visitors to Peekskill and the Hudson Valley.
